It's that time of the week again, here are our top five songs of the week taken from the ARIA Singles Chart.

Slow Hands - Niall Horan

With ex One Direction members like Harry Styles and Liam Payne doing incredibly well for themselves in the charts, it's no wonder that Niall Horan is also making the most of his time away from the British boy band. The Irish singer-songwriter signed a recording deal as a solo artist with Capitol Records back in September last year, and has since released his debut solo single This Town, which peaked at number nine on the UK Singles Charts.

His latest track Slow Hands, which was released in May is currently at number five in the ARIA Charts and continues to get air time on the radio. The track itself is a bass heavy funk-pop song with musical influences from the 1970's and 1980's. Its lyrics are not only cheeky, but have a feel-good vibe that works a treat with the song's overall arrangement.

Horan's upcoming new album is said to be inspired by classic rock acts including Fleetwood Mac and The Eagles. For now though, you can check out his latest track here.

Feels - Calvin Harris ft. Pharrell Williams, Katy Perry and Big Sean

Scottish producer and DJ Calvin Harris continues to show us he has some pretty cool work colleagues, with the number of amazing collaborations rising by the album. Harris' upcoming fifth studio record Funk Wav Bounces Vol 1 will feature several music A-listers, including Frank Ocean, Migos, Young Thug, Ariana Grande, Future and DJ Khaled - just to name a few.

The DJ superstar first rose to international fame back in 2012 with the release of his third studio album 18 months. It broke the record for most top 10 songs from one studio album on the UK Singles Charts with nine tracks, outperforming the king of pop himself - Michael Jackson.

His latest offering from the impending LP is Feels and it is a lighthearted, fun-loving disco homage with contributing vocals by Pharrell Williams, Katy Perry and Big Sean. The song is composed almost entirely by hooks, which have no trouble ensnaring listeners into its dance-charged web. Listen to the track here.

Your Song - Rita Ora

After taking a two year hiatus from her solo music career, British singer and actress Rita Ora is back with her latest single, Your Song. It's the lead track for her upcoming and yet-to-be-titled second studio album, which was not only co-written by British sensation Ed Sheeran and producer Steve Mac, but manages to feature un-credited vocals by the former. The song debuted at number 13 on the UK Singles Charts and is currently sitting in 19th spot on the ARIA Music Charts.

Your Song is a buoyant and uplifting pop tune about falling in love and everything else that comes with it. There's nothing particular surprising about Ora's newest release, but it's a catchy feel-good number that will no doubt make it onto a number of playlists. Check out the lyric video here.

There For You - Martin Garrix and Troye Sivan

Life's been pretty great for 21-year-old Dutch DJ Martin Garrix ever since fellow DJ and producer Tiesto first discovered him five years ago. He first gained fame with his solo release of track Animals back in 2013 and has been powering through with some epic releases.

Fast forward to the present day and Garrix has provided a welcoming blend of electro pop sounds with new single There For You. With the added touch of Australian artist Troye Sivan's clear and distinct vocals, the arrangement is the perfect EDM formula. While it may not be the most original of sounds, its lyrics provide a honest account of a one-sided relationship. Check out the music video here.

Touch Me - Starley

Few musicians can boast about their incredible accomplishments like Australian singer-songwriter Starley can. Within 12 months, the songstress released debut single, Call On Me, remixed by a number of DJ's - most famously by producer Ryan Riback. The track reached the top ten in a number of countries, including, Australia, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, the UK and New Zealand.

Her highly anticipated follow up single, Touch Me, is currently at number 11 on the Australian Artist Singles Chart, and is set to try and recreate its predecessors popularity. Inspired by mid 90's neo-soul classics, the track is an upbeat pop/dance tune that deserves its place in the ARIA charts. Starley's unique ability to compose captivating lyrics and melodies has resonated with fans across the globe, and will no doubt continue to do so in the upcoming months. Check out her latest banger here.
